These are different from General Purpose Rescue Training Manikins, once are indicated for water rescue trainings. They also have NATO stock number.
With a similar size to a person and with the weight distributed in a real way, the Manikins for water rescues floats in a 45 degree angle and only the head and shoulders are visible at water level to perfect simulate a rugged person.
They are divided by two models – Manoverboard and Search and Rescue. These models are available in child size, with 20kg and 1,30 meters, and adult size, with 40 kg and 1,83 meters.
The Manoverboard Model is manufactured in bright orange color with retroreflector bands in the head for a really clear identification by training teams.
In turn, the Search and Rescue Model is manufactured in black color without retroreflector bands and its yellow head can be covered by a black hood. The goal of this manufacture is to turn the product totally discreet, making difficult the rescue teams task in the field and forcing them to develop its rescue and search technics.
Both models are manufactured in materials that allow the manikin buoyancy inside of water, at the same time that allow its better ventilation when placed to dry. |
